Why Plant Trees
Planting trees is one of the most effective ways to combat climate change. Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, store carbon, and release oxygen, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and stabilize global temperatures. By restoring degraded landscapes, trees play a critical role in building climate resilience for communities and ecosystems alike.
Trees also improve soil fertility, prevent erosion, and protect water sources. Their roots stabilize riverbanks, support wetlands, and enhance water retention, ensuring communities have access to clean water while preserving biodiversity. Healthy forests provide habitats for wildlife and maintain ecological balance.
