GRO Foundation Uganda provides comprehensive technical support to farmers, companies, and institutions, enabling them to participate in global carbon markets. Through services such as carbon project design, carbon stock assessment, Monitoring, Reporting & Verification (MRV), and digital tree-tracking systems, stakeholders can accurately measure and manage their carbon sequestration efforts.
These programs open access to voluntary carbon markets, allowing participants to generate verified carbon credits. By meeting international standards for carbon certification, farmers and organizations can unlock new revenue streams while contributing to global climate mitigation efforts.
Beyond financial incentives, the initiative strengthens climate resilience by promoting sustainable land management and environmentally responsible practices. Participants not only benefit economically but also play an active role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and enhancing ecosystem health.
