GRO Uganda promotes and distributes clean cooking technologies, including improved cookstoves and renewable energy solutions, to households and communities. By introducing energy-efficient alternatives, the program helps reduce reliance on traditional fuel sources, making cooking safer, cleaner, and more sustainable.
These solutions significantly lower household fuel costs and reduce indoor air pollution, improving health outcomes, especially for women and children who are most exposed to smoke from traditional cooking methods. Additionally, promoting efficient energy use contributes to the conservation of local forests and the reduction of deforestation.
By integrating modern clean energy technologies, GRO Uganda enhances overall energy efficiency, supports sustainable livelihoods, and empowers communities to adopt environmentally friendly practices.
